Downtown Street Improvement Master Plan Implementation Committee (DSIMPIC)
Staff: Greg Wolff, Planning & Building Director (925) 299-3204
The City of Lafayette adopted its current Downtown Street Improvement Master Plan in 1988. The Plan guides developers and staff in making improvements to street frontage in downtown Lafayette. The goal of the plan is to develop a cohesive, positive visual image for Lafayette’s downtown while providing amenities to make the downtown a more comfortable, safer and enjoyable place. The five member Downtown Street Improvement Master Plan Implementation Committee (DSIMPIC), appointed by the City Council, is charged with implementation of the Plan.
The DSIMPIC meets on an as-needed basis and does not have regularly scheduled meetings. Please see the City Calendar for specific dates. Meetings are generally held at the Lafayette City Offices, 3675 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, Suite 265, Lafayette, CA 94549. Sign up on the e-notification page to be notified in advance of a meeting when the agenda is published.
