The Program
At Camp Awesome, we bring the AWESOME to YOU! Every day features group games and sports, crafts, the Awesome Game Room, adventures, new friends, and fun! Activities vary so no day or week is the same!
The Awesome Game Room:
Upon arrival and between activities, campers will enjoy one of the most decked out Game Rooms around! Make awesome creations with our huge bins of LEGO®s, have a dance off with Just Dance on our Nintendo Switch, make the most intricate lanyard ever, color until your hand cramps, shoot hoops like Curry, and beat your friends in foosball, air hockey, and Beyblades! We can't forget the Green Group Area which features an imagination station with all your favorite play time toys, coloring, and big LEGO®s just for them. One word: AWESOME
The Age Group Split:
Camp Awesome features two groups:
4-6 yr. olds are our Green Group
7-11 yr. olds are our Blue Group
Both groups start together and do many games and activities together.
Throughout the day, each group will go off to do their own activities geared toward their ages.
All Campers must be potty trained and be able to use the bathroom on their own. Staff does not assist in the bathroom at any capacity.
VARIOUS WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:
Community Park Playground & Special Events: Play outside at the big & beautiful Community Park Playground! Don’t miss our special events throughout the summer!
Angry Birds Launcher & Carnival Games: Campers will get to launch angry birds to knock down the blocks and hit the pigs. Plus there will be several Carnival Games to win prizes!
Summer Show Performance: Performances by magicians, jugglers, animals, and more.
Tie Dye!: Campers will receive a camp shirt to tie dye on their first week at camp. Campers will then get to tie-dye more fun items or can bring an item from home for future weeks!
Science & Nature Activities: Campers will get to experience AWESOME science activities. They will also explore and experience the amazing natural environment at the Community Center by doing nature walks.

Summer 2024
Registration opens March 25th! at 12am.
Camp will be open M-F and registration will be weekly
Day Camp - 9am-2pm = $300/wk
Early Care - 8am-9am = $60/wk
Afternoon Care/Camp - 2pm-5:30pm = $210/wk
June 3rd-August 8th (No Camp 7/4 and 7/5)
There will no Camp Awesome on Friday August 9th, camp will run M-Th that week.
This summer, Camp Awesome will be in Jennifer Russell Building at the Lafayette Community Center!
What to Bring
- Active clothing, layers depending on outside weather
- Lunch and a small snack in a lunch box or bag
- Face covering optional
Electronics Guidelines
- One thing that makes our camp AWESOME is you can bring your personal game devices like your Switch, DS, and devices that can use apps.
- Texting, phone calls, and any inappropriate use of an electronic device is strictly prohibited
- Camp Counselors will supervise the games being played. No inappropriate or violent games.
- If electronics are being misused they can be taken away from campers and stored until pick-up
- All electronics are the campers responsibility and brought at their own risk. Camp Awesome is not responsible if devices are damaged or lost
- Electronics can be used in the morning during check-in, but then must be put away until the afternoon unless otherwise specified.
- Electronics privileges can be taken away or postponed at any time
Waiver
All campers must fill out a waiver to attend camp. Save time at Check-In and fill out your waiver HERE!
