The Cities of Lafayette, Walnut Creek, and Concord are partnering to host a workshop on the SunShares program, which runs through November. SunShares is a bulk purchasing, renewable energy procurement program that offers reduced rates for rooftop solar, electric vehicles, and residential electric vehicle charging stations, administered by the Business Council on Climate Change in partnership with 35 cities and companies in the Bay Area. This year, the program was able to negotiate a 15-20% additional discount beyond the companies’ initially discounted bulk purchasing!
