Diablo Ballet and The Lafayette Library join together once again for the popular, summer Dance on Film series! The third and final film in our series, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, is a 1954 musical film directed by Stanley Donen, starring Howard Keel, Jeff Richards, Russ Tamblyn and Jane Powell. In 1850 Oregon, when a backwoodsman brings a wife home to his farm, his six brothers decide that they want to get married too. Before the screening, Lauren Jonas, Diablo Ballet's Artistic Director, and film critic Beau Behan will share fascinating facts about the making of the film.
