The second film in our summer series is the 1952 MGM American musical comedy Singin' in the Rain, starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds, and choreographed by Gene Kelly. It offers a lighthearted depiction of Hollywood, with the three stars portraying performers caught up in the transition from silent films to "talkies." The evening includes a pre-show discussion with Lauren Jonas, Diablo Ballet's Artistic Director, and film critic Beau Behan, a post-show Q&A and raffle.
