Steve Richard, one of the founders of Sustainable Lafayette, will lead a “climate hike” to Russell Peak. This is a fantastic 3.4 mile loop that starts near Happy Valley Elementary school and reaches panoramic Russell Peak (1357 feet) in Briones Regional Park. Along the way Steve, who was recently trained by the Climate Reality Project, will provide a handful of 3-5 minute updates on the climate crisis, including the impact of the historic agreement reached in Paris. Snacks and beverages provided at the summit. Meet at the Happy Valley Elementary School parking lot at 9am. More details:
