The Happy Valley Green Team and 5th graders need your help - donate your old shoes for a good cause! It's Time To Spring Clean and get rid of those running shoes with holes in them! The Heart and Sole Shoe Drive will be held on Sunday, March 6th from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Happy Valley Elementary School, located at 3855 Happy Valley Road. It's simple, just drive through Happy Valley Elementary School’s front and side entrances and drop your shoes to any of their Green Team members. All wearable and unwearable shoes will be accepted and this event is open to the entire Lafayette community. All unwearable athletic shoes will be donated to Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe Program. Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe Program collects old, worn-out athletic shoes for recycling, and along with pre-consumer shoe waste, transforms them into Nike Grind, a material used to create athletic and playground surfaces and more
