Many of you already know about the epic People’s Climate March next Sunday, Sept 21, in NYC, timed to urge world leaders to act aggressively during the UN Climate Change talks on Sept 23. This is shaping up to be the biggest climate change march in history…but only if we all turn out! Over 1000 organizations are marching, including more than 300 colleges and universities bringing delegations.
In solidarity of the NYC march, rallies are being organized worldwide to coincide with the NYC march. In NorCal, the main event will be at Lake Merritt in Oakland. Let's all go and make a difference. This is a family friendly event with music, entertainment, speakers and more.
For those in Lamorinda and near Walnut Creek, let’s ride the BART and go together to the OAKLAND People’s Climate Rally: Sunday 9/21, 2-5pm.

Where do we meet?
Walnut Creek BART: Gather 1:15-1:30pm, enter turnstiles at 1:30pm for 1:36pm BART towards MILLBRAE. Transfer at MacArthur to the FREMONT line to Lake Merritt. Ride together in the front 2 cars!
Lafayette BART: Gather 1:15-1:30pm, enter turnstiles at 1:30pm for1:40pm BART towards MILLBRAE. Transfer at MacArthur to the FREMONT line to Lake Merritt. Ride together in the front 2 cars!
Orinda BART: Gather 1:15-1:30pm, enter turnstiles at 1:30pm for1:45pm BART towards MILLBRAE. Transfer at MacArthur to the FREMONT line to Lake Merritt. Ride together in the front 2 cars!
