The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Lafayette Res Run for Education on Sunday, October 22.
On Race Day, Mt. Diablo Boulevard will be closed from Moraga Rd. to Paulson Rd. from 6:00am until 11:00am for the nearly 2500 runners who are expected to participate. One lane will remain open Westbound from Happy Valley Rd. to El Nido Rd. and another lane will be open from Village to Mountain View heading Eastbound. Most downtown businesses and residences will be accessible by taking a detour on either Deer Hill Rd. to the North and Brook St. to the South.
