The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Lafayette Art & Wine Festival on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24, with temporary street closure and No Parking areas downtown starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 22 through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 24.

Downtown Road Detours Starting on Friday, September 22: If you live, work or plan to travel through downtown next weekend, be advised of temporary road closures and detours in the heart of our downtown core for the festival. Starting on Friday, September 22, at 7 p.m., Mt. Diablo Blvd. will be closed to traffic between Moraga Rd. & Dewing Ave. in both directions. Also, Lafayette Circle will be partially closed from Mt. Diablo Blvd. south to Hough Ave. Detours will set up and drivers should follow the signs. The closures will remain until approximately 11 p.m. Sunday night.
- Traveling Westbound on Mt. Diablo: Detour right on 1st street up to Deer Hill Rd. Make a left on Deer Hill to Happy Valley Rd.
- Turn Left on Happy Valley and a right turn on Mt. Diablo.
- Traveling East Bound: Take a left on Happy Valley, a right turn on Deer Hill and a right turn on 1st street, followed by a left on Mt. Diablo.
- For an alternate detour route, use Moraga Rd. or Mountain View, south to Brook St.
Free parking will be available at the Lafayette BART Station thru the weekend and free shuttles will run between the BART lot and the festival between 9:30 am and 6:30 pm.
