Walkabout Northern California - Hiking Inn to Inn with author Tom Courtney
Join author and hiking expert Tom Courtney as he discusses his book "Walkabout Northern California Hiking Inn to Inn". The book provides readers easy to plan self-guided inn-to-inn hikes from B&B to resort to hostel through some of the most beautiful country in Northern California. Leave the car behind, explore stunning wilderness of foot, and end each day with a comfortable bed, a glass of wine, and a good meal. Walkabouts range from challenging hikes with occasional 15 to 20 miles days to leisurely strolls of five to seven miles. Each walkabout, a trip of its own, includes stories about the people of the area, descriptions of the flora and fauna, detailed route information recommendations for places to stay, maps, and inspiration to simplify travel and reconnect with nature's rhythm.
