Agenda
On Tuesday, February 23, 2021 the Hamlin Nature Park Subcommittee held a working meeting to plan the logistics of in-person site visit/tours to help the public visit the parkland prior to participating in the meetings to shape the master plan for the park. At that meeting the group discussed how to set up a self guided tour option for the public and how to collect feedback from those who may need a guided tour of the site. As part of the discussion they developed this draft schedule for upcoming activity:
- March 7th, Sunday, 2 PM
- Subcommittee and staff tour of site to set up public audio tour. This will be posted as a public meeting that anyone can attend, but it is our hope that participants come to the tours after the group has had an opportunity to map out the guided tour and better prepare walking areas. The scope of this agenda is limited to the development of the walking tour and will not involve discussion of specific park uses or the master plan. The Subcommittee hopes to have the self-guided tours between March 20, 2021 and April 4, 2021. The Subcommittee will collect input from the community during that period and at meetings that will follow. Technically you can join but for COVID and safety reasons we prefer that you attend the tours between March 20th and April 4th. Feel free to call me if you want to talk about this. 925-595-4847
